The Ulverscroft Foundation is pleased to announce that it has published "Maladies oculaires sous les climates chauds" by John Sandford-Smith.
As no French publisher was willing to undertake this much needed project, the Ulverscroft Foundation decided to fund the revised translation and publication of this French edition of John Sandford-Smith's "Eye Diseases in Hot Climates" in order to meet the needs of eye care workers in Francophone countries. The English version has been very successful and is now in its fourth edition. In keeping with its objectives, the Ulverscroft Foundation hopes that the Ulverscroft French edition will similarly contribute to the improvement in eye care and life chances of visually impaired people in many more countries.
The subsidised price of the book is: charities £10 plus postage and packing: other organisations £25, plus postage and packing.
